As A Child, Music Meant Everything To Me. But when I was 12 years old I had the good fortune of having a friend who's father was a true audiophile. Tribute to Milton Silber. Upon first coming into their living room In 1972, I was Stunned! I saw, BIG Magnapan Tympani I Speakers, A Phase Linier 400B Monster Amplifier on the floor between them, and a Rack with an Audio Research Pre-Amp, and a Techniques SL10 Direct Drive Turntable! Whoa! I was done for !

I thought how much all of that, could bring me closer to the Music that I loved so much. I was captivated. I set up my own listening room with my little stereo in a triangle configuration just like Mr. Silber. When I got older and could afford it I bought my first Hi-End System. Big name harsh sounding monster amps, and strident speakers, it was a steep learning curve.

In the late 1980's I met Mike O'Keefe and became close friends. He who then worked at CSA Audio, and now owns Hi-Fi Direct, taught me a lot, setting me on the right track with equipment and most important the great recordings on vinyl. Later I met Victor Goldstein founder of Fanfare International Importer of so many breakthrough prominent lines like B&W, and Jadis Electronics. I started working for him, and did so for over 30 years.

With all this my Ears developed at a rapid rate, Hearing the most minute changes. For example 40 years ago when A/C power was thought of as irrelevant I started listening to different A/C Receptacles. There was only Hubbell and Leviton, etc., but I found the Hospital Grade sounded superior. People thought I was crazy at the time. Of course now we all know that there are dozens of Audiophile grade A/C wall outlets costing hundreds of dollars! Similarly I heard the difference when I moved my Integrated Amplifier around on the coffee table. Instantly I knew that vibrations and resonances, things you can't see or predict, had a BIG effect on the sound. I started working on Constrained Layer Damped Platforms in 1990 and now have reached what I feel is the pinnacle. Hence I decided to start this company. Because like us, many people have an incredible passion for Music and Hi-Fi. Music has gotten me though the most difficult times in my life. Helping others get the most from their systems, and music, I feel is noble, and with the restorative and recuperative power that this hobby affords us, It is my sincerest wish that I will do so for you.
